Seasilver Liquid Vitamin Info
The Seasilver liquid vitamin earns its manufacturers over $180 million a year touting it as a curative agent in the treatment of
over 650 diseases including cancer, diabetes -- even AIDS, but are the claims true or simple marketing hype? Clearly with the increased awareness
of the need for nutritional supplements, liquid vitamins have gained a lot attention among consumers, but just what are the facts?
This web page we hope will give you the information you need regarding liquid multi vitamins. We will discuss facts on liquid vitamins,
liquid vitamin supplements, absorption of liquid vitamins, and finally offer Nutritional Supplement Bible.com's recommendation. One
of the chief selling points of liquid vitamins is that they have an astonishing absorption rate as high as 98% within the human
system.
Seasilver manufacturers also claim, however, that 90% of most supplements are excreted and therefore not assimilated. In other words,
literally 90% of most dietary supplements are flushed down the toilet as they are not assimilated by
the body. While this is true, there is more to this claim than meets the eye. (Incidentally, of the many popular liquid vitamins on
the market, Seasilver is one of the most prominent given its prodigious yearly sales of $180 million.) Sometimes it can be difficult to separate
fact from fiction.
These are controversial claims and bespeak this one question: "Are liquid vitamins legitimate and what are the benefits to taking Seasilver
liquid vitamin?" and "If they are, what are its shortcomings?" Probably the most important question is, "Are liquid vitamins a scam?" Those are
perhaps the most important questions to answer in this Seasilver Review. That is the purpose of
this page -- to help you answer these questions.
Is Seasilver a Fraud?
The Facts on Liquid Vitamins & Liquid Vitamin Supplements
Based on our research, 90% of supplements ARE lost in elimination. However, not all alternative health supplements are equal.
A key point needs to be made here: There is a tremendous difference in the quality of supplements! The
vast majority of supplements are mass produced for sale in traditional grocery outlets and marketed as if they are the panacea for your
nutritional needs. The ingredients these supplements are made from are the least expensive found as well as the cheapest excipients as
well.
Excipients are the binding agents that keep the various ingredients in the supplement tablet together. This is where the delivery system comes
to bear. Due to the lackluster quality of the excipients, the nutrients of the tablets are released in the stomach and consequently destroyed by
stomach acids. T
The result? They're excreted out either through the skin via sweat or urinated out. With
the vast majority of supplements on the market today, this is what happens. Have you ever noticed after taking a supplement how your urine became
a darker, richer color? That's the nutrients being eliminated. Now you know why.
The other extreme, however, are supplement companies who produce scientifically tested, carefully crafted, using pharmaceutical-type blending
to eliminate stratification, using enteric coating and the highest quality excipients. In fact, these high-quality supplements are made with such
rigid standards they are called "nutraceuticals."
These nutraceutical supplements have a scientifically tested, biological delivery system. In order for these type of supplements to be
optimally assimilated, they should be absorbed through the lining of the walls of the upper intestine thus allowing them to enter the bloodstream
where they can carry their nutrients to cells and organs.
When liquid vitamin manufacturers like the Seasilver liquid vitamin supplement claim that liquid multi vitamins have superior absorption and
that ALL pill or tablet supplements are not absorbed but lost as body waste -- this is deliberately
misleading, in our view. Truly, there is a vast difference between nutraceuticals and those sold in grocery stores.
The Absorption of Seasilver Liquid Vitamin
As discussed earlier, manufacturers of liquid vitamins claim a 98% absorption percentage of their liquid vitamin supplements. At
worst, this is deceptive. At best, it is outright fabrication.
In truth, there are only a few ways for nutrients to get into your bloodstream, injection, through the lining of the upper intestine walls,
through the lining of the colon walls using suppositories, and via the mucous membranes in the mouth.
Let's briefly discuss each of these in this Seasilver Review.
1.) Needle Injection. Must be performed by a qualified health professional. In the case of vitamin deficiencies, a shot of the vitamin can be
administered via injection.
2.)Lining of Upper Intestine Walls. This has been previously discussed.
3.)Lining of Colon Walls Using Suppositories. Suppositories are doctor-prescribed items and not applicable to nutraceutical supplements.
4.)Mucous Membranes of The Mouth. Many pills and liquids are recommended to be taken sublingually (put underneath the tongue). While this may
work for some supplements, it doesn't work for the majority as the molecules are too big for absorption by the mucous membranes. The Seasilver
liquid vitamin concoction falls into none of these categories because it simply is not assimilated. Nor do, for that matter, the vast majority of
so-called nutritional and dietary supplements. Liquid vitamins such as Seasilver are swallowed and then enter the stomach, never making it to the
lining of the upper intestinal walls for the vast majority are destroyed by your stomach acids.
Seasilver Fraud
The companies who sell these liquid vitamins deliberately take advantage of a trusting and unsuspecting public with outlandish claims
regarding their absorption. This is simply not the case, and now you know. Remember, evil or manipulation often sells itself by cloaking
itself in the guise of the good. The more plausible, the better for people have a natural affinity for truthful-sounding claims.
Mixing truth and error is usually a very potent combination and only the most discerning are available to tell the difference -- thus this
seasilver review. An important article was released on June 19, 2003 by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) posted an article entitled,
"No Silver Lining for Marketers of Bogus Supplement; Federal Agencies Crack down on Health Fraud: FTC Charges Marketers of Seasilver with
Making False and Deceptive Claims; FDA Seizes Seasilver Inventories."
As outlined in that article, the FTC and FDA seized Seasilver USA and Americaloe, Inc. for "fraudulent marketing" as the aforementioned
companies for "promoting the dietary supplement 'Seasilver' with unsubstantiated medical claims." Click here on this Seasilver fraud to see the entire statement. The chairman of the FTC, Timothy J. Muris, stated,
"Like the snake oil salesman of old, Seasilver claimed to cure 650 different health problems, including such serious diseases as cancer,
AIDS, and diabetes. These claims may keep consumers from seeking appropriate treatment. They certainly empty consumers' pockets."
At a price of $39.95 for a 32-ounce bottle of Seasilver, it's not hard to see why the manufacturers of this product could make $180
million a year. In that same article, Mark B. McClellan, M.D., PhD, the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) commissioner stated,
"This is the sort of intolerable health fraud I had in mind when I announced six months ago that the FDA will take vigorous actions
against firms that prey on consumers and patients by selling worthless dietary supplements as cures for serious and chronic diseases and
conditions...Using these ineffective products is worse than wasting money -- it may cause irreparable harm by delaying or replacing approved
treatments that can bring actual health benefits."
How Seasilver is Marketed & Sold
The prominence of Seasilver has undoubtedly been brought about due to its
marketing plan, which they call "Dynamic Retailing," essentially mult-level marketing (MLM) and Internet marketing. This also accounts, we
believe, to the high price of $39.95 for one 32-ounce bottle as MLM companies need a high retail mark up to pay everyone involved in the MLM
downline.
Nutritional-Supplement-Bible's Verdict on Liquid Vitamins & Seasilver
Don't listen to the hype. Liquid vitamins like Sea are not assimilated by the body and are therefore useless to improving your health. YOU
DON'T NEED THEM. Plus, they are often very expensive. (Before becoming properly educated, the editors of this site once bought liquid
vitamins totaling approximately $150 for 8 small bottles of liquid vitamins! Now you know why we were motivated to do this Seasilver review.)
There is no discernible benefit to taking liquid vitamin supplements. Don't waste your
hard-earned money.
One of the reasons for the rise in liquid vitamin popularity was not only their outlandish marketing claims but also due to the popularity of
juicing. Vegetable and fruit juicing should not be confused with liquid vitamin supplementation. Juicing IS a very healthy habit for fresh,
non-pasteurized fruit and vegetables are teeming with organic enzymes, vitamins and minerals. If you must be on a liquid diet for some compelling
health reasons, freshly made fruit and vegetable juices can provide you with most of the vitamins and minerals you need. To those who desire
liquid vitamins like Seasilver, liquid vitamin supplements simply don't compare with juicing nor with scientifically-designed nutraceuticals.
That's a key point of this Seasilver Review.
What I Take & Why
If you're interested in nutraceutical nutritional supplements, we highly recommend a company based in New Zealand. I use their multivitamin supplement product instead of liquid vitamins as it's highly assimilable and pharmaceutical grade
quality.
Be advised that these nutritional supplements are made with the same standards as pharmaceutical-grade prescriptions and are made with even
more rigid standards than medications in the US. Lastly, they have a minimum absorption rate of 80%, which this New Zealand company
guarantees.
Unlike liquid vitamins they are properly assimilated by the body. While Nutritional Supplement Bible.com primarily recommends this New Zealand
company's products, I do run third-party Google ads on our site for two reasons: to supplement my income to help pay for this site, but more
importantly to give you the reader as honest and straightforward information as possible in your search for healthy nutritional supplements and
cutting-edge health information -- hence this seasilver review.
In short, we only recommend a product that is produced at GMP compliant facilities that produces pharmaceutical quality grade product. I've
studied nutrition, herbal medicine, and microbiology for over 25 years and have searched diligently for the best supplements and health practices
for optimum health ourselves.
With that in mind, I have created this webpage (and site) and wrote this seasilver
review.
Whatever dietary supplements you take, I hope this Seasilver Review has been helpful to you in your search for safe and healthy supplements.
Yours in health, hope, and harmony,
