Review of Xtend-Life Total Balance Women’s
An All-Natural, Pharmaceutical-Grade Quality Multi-Vitamin Designed Specifically for Women
Welcome to this review of Xtend-Life Total Balance Women’s webpage. While I’m not
female, I’ve been using Xtend-Life supplements since May 2004 and feel I can give you a good review of the product, the company, how it’s made
and other essentials.
What distinguishes Xtend-Life with their Total Balance formulas, their company’s flagship product, is the way it’s made and the
pharmaceutical-grade standard it meets.
All of the ingredients are tested and verified to be pharmaceutical-grade, which testing is actually not done in-house but is done at
cGMP-compliant (current Good Manufacturing Practices) facilities like Alkemists Laboratories, which is one of the laboratories Xtend-Life
actually uses. At the laboratory, the ingredients are tested and certified as pharmaceutical grade or they are not used.
Various elements of the extraction process actually exceed British Pharmacopoeia pharmaceutical drug standards.
Next, Xtend-Life themselves confirms each batch of raw nutrients with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) confirming the potency and purity of
each batch.
Once that’s done, the Total Balance Women’s version is made. The company doesn’t skimp here either. They use pharmaceutical blending not
paddle/ribbon blender-type mixers. This means you get equality of purity and potency for every tablet encapsulated.
The product is made in Xtend-Life’s own facilities, whcih are cGMP-compliant facilities just like pharmaceutical drugs - this is the highest
standard possible.
What does all this mean for you? It means that you are getting the highest standard possible, the highest quality of assimilable, usable
nutrients that can make a real difference in your health.
What About Female-Specific Nutrients in the Total Balance for Women’s Formula?
Some of the ingredients are applicable for both sexes, of course, but what makes this a "female version" are some of the specific ingredients
chosen for the formula including the following:
-
Dong quai. Helps with premenstrual syndrome, menstrual cramps, irregularity, retarded flow, weakness during the menstrual period and
symptoms of menopause.
-
Feverfew. Good for menstrual irregularities
-
Wild Yam. A very potent herb. It’s helpful for postmenopausal vaginal dryness, premenstrual syndrome, osteoporosis, increasing energy
and libido in women and for breast enlargement.
-
Chasteberry. Helps body inflammation and swelling, menstrual irregularities, symptoms of menopause and symptoms of premenstrual
syndrome (PMS).
As you can see, those four medicinal herbs are very female-specific and contribute to various feminine health. The other vitamins, minerals,
co-factors and enzymes will contribute to overall health in many ways. (To get more information on it, go here.)
Consumer Reviews & Testimonials -- What Others Are Saying
The Total Balance Women’s product has been very well accepted in the marketplace. Below are a few testimonials:
I am going to continue with your Total Balance Women’s Premium product on a regular basis.....it's a GREAT supplement. My energy is at
LEAST half again of what it was...and along with diet changes I no longer 'faint' for no good reason....which is kind of nice....LOL.....I'm
ordering for a friend to try so that's why the 4 bottles.....my naturopath sells her own supplements and they're ok but she threw your product on
the machine (that measures minerals and vitamins).....not sure what it's called.....and it made that thing SING out loud so she said.....yep,
they're good........just wanted to tell you that I really like the product....

...When I was away on holiday I saw many friends and family whom I had not seen in a year. I received almost universal praise for my hair.
My hair is darker than it has been in years (I have brown/black hair), and I have regained deep red highlights that had gone missing. I wasn't
going grey exactly, I was just...fading.
Well, your Total Balance Women's Premium completely reversed that trend. I had noticed improvements in my sleep, my skin condition and my
digestion, but the change to my hair was so gradual that I hadn't noticed until others did. I'm so pleased that I'm growing my hair out! Thank
you for fabulous products and customer service.

Any Customer Complaints?
No self-respecting review of Xtend-Life Total Balance Women’s would be complete without discussing complaints.
The Xtend-Life Total Balance Women’s, and the Total Balance formula itself, is very well received. The only real complaint about the product
is its price point.
Xtend-Life counters the criticism saying that their Total Balance formulas are all made with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients.
They also contend that as all their products are produced in cGMP-compliant facilities, which is the highest purity standard possible, they
are thus admittedly more more expensive than over-the-counter or grocery-store multi-vitamins.
Xtend-Life also emphasize that they’ve clinically tested and proven that 80% of the tablets are assimilated upon ingestion. In other words, of
the daily tablets taken or recommended, at least 80% of it will actually find its way into the bloodstream. Only a small fraction of ordinary
vitamin supplements will be assimilated as they’re synthetic.
The company thus asserts you are getting what you paid for: a multi-vitamin that is actually helping your health and is being utilized by the
body. If you're interested in seeing a benefits and costs analysis, click here.
Clearly, Xtend-Life is very confident in their Total Balance Women’s product given their six-month guarantee.
Be aware that while the totals are very small, the formula has ingredients derived from soy, peanut and shellfish. It doesn’t have any gluten
or dairy byproducts or derivatives in it.
Xtend-Life doesn’t believe the soy, peanut or shellfish could be harmful and recommend testing to see if there is any reaction by taking one
tablet. If that is unnerving, then see your doctor.
