Xtend-Life Omega 3 DHA Fish Oil Review
Welcome to this Xtend-Life Omega 3 DHA Fish Oil review.
Pound for pound, fish oil may be one of the most powerful and therapeutic supplements in the world. It may rightly be thought of as a “superfood.”
It’s clinically proven to help with brain function including learning and memory; those who suffer from ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease, dyslexia and dyspraxia it has been shown to be effective; and it offers a full complement of cardiovascular system health benefits including reducing heart irregularities, lowering blood triglycerides (blood fats), lowering blood pressure, improving circulation, and preventing clotting in blood.
Other clinical studies show it also provides benefits for the following:
Inflammatory Bowel Disease
I think you can see why I think this is one of the most potent supplements in the world and why it can be called a “superfood.”
All of these health benefits to you I think are self-evident. Just what it can do for your blood and heart health is enough of a reason for it to be added to one’s health regime.
What to Look For
While there is no such thing as pharmaceutical-grade quality fish oil, there can be some real differences in the quality — and bio-availability — of the fish oil supplement.
Let’s talk about that now.
If you look at the graphic below, you will see that Xtend-Life (the “private company’s standards) says their Omega 3/DHA Fish Oil product line surpasses the accepted standards of international standards as put forth by regulatory bodies.
Moreover, Xtend-Life says it can prove the superiority of their fish oil supplements saying, “We use two independent government certified laboratories for testing. All data is kept on file. The laboratory that is used depends on the test being carried out – either Cawthron Laboratories (http://www.asurequality.co.nz/) or Agriquality Laboratories.”
One of the ways you can see their product purity is their Certificate of Analysis (COA), which is on file they say, confirming the potency of each batch of raw nutrients. This COA is performed by an independent laboratory.
What Are The Ingredients?
This fish oil supplement is made from tuna and New Zealand hoki fish. The hoki is indigenous to the ocean waters of New Zealand and are considered to be among the most pristine in the world.
The specific ingredients in the supplement, though, are:
Fish oil from tuna and the hoki fish

Omega 6 fatty acids
Omega 9 fatty acids
DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid)
EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid)
DPA (Docosapentaenoic acid)
Consumer Reviews & Testimonials — What Others Are Saying
This is one of the most popular of all Xtend-Life supplements. Many customers seem to consider Xtend Life fish oil the best fish oil supplement in the world. It has many testimonials or positive reviews to support that, Xtend Life believes.
Below is a sampling of some of those testimonials:
I’ve been taking your fish oil for over 3 years now (along with Total Balance) so plan to have another blood test soon to compare to the results 3 years back. But overall I feel much better (my energy levels were not great before) so it’s more out of interest. I think it’s the fish oil that has made the biggest difference but can never be sure.
I have recently travelled across from Sydney and had your head office down on my list of visits, but time has just got away! I am placing my next order online, and I am pleased to hear that this new formula is unlikely to cause ‘burping’ or ‘repeating’ … I took 6 per day and found it very beneficial to my back pain.
I did not known you had new fish oil, but thats great news! What i found most amazing about Xtend-life fish oil is that it has no oddur unlike fish oil I used to buy from drug stores…and that put me off fish oil for years until Xtend-life asked me to try theirs, and I’m glad i did that! It looks like I will invest hundreads of dollars next week at Xtend life for my mother and dad and myself. Thanks for the research and great products!
Your Omega 3’s are the BEST!!!!!!! They literally saved my life. My GP told me my triglycerides were up at 720 & that my blood “was like chocolate syrup” and it was a miracle I hadn’t stroked out yet. I’m only 45. I began taking your Omega 3’s twice a day and when my 3 month check up rolled around my GP was ASTOUNDED and I was totally THRILLED. Without making any drastic changes in my diet other than cutting down on fast food, my trygliceride levels had gone from 720 to 210!!! I was only 60 points above the high end of “normal.” My GP was amazed that fish oil helped.
My father-in-law takes a generic fish oil and they have yet to help him at all. I tried convincing him to switch to your product, but he’s too cheap! So, many, many thanks. This product really did save my life. I even feel a difference in my day to day activities. Your Female Rejuvenator also seems to be doing the trick, too! I began noticing improvements as I neared the end of the bottle so I’m re-ordering that one as well.
What’s the Price?
It’s only $17.95 for 60 softgels, which is a month’s supply.
Do They Offer a Product Guarantee?
Yes, they do. Xtend-Life offers a one-year product guarantee. If you are not satisifed with it in any way, you can either get a refund or a product replacement.
What about security when ordering the product? In an age of constant IT (information technology) threats from hackers and the proliferation of viruses, trojans and other “malware,” Xtend-Life seems serious about their IT security protocols.
They’ve implemented an EV-SSL encryption protocol to keep hackers at bay. Having worked for two IT security companies, I can tell you that at worst, this is very adequate.
Plus, their IT security protocols are tested daily by McAfee Secure, a popular standard for online transactions.
Do They Offer Free Shipping?
Yes and no. Xtend-Life offers free shipping anywhere in the world for orders totalling $60 USD or more. For orders under the $60 benchmark, you’ll pay a flat fee of $6.50.
Are There Any Customer Complaints?
Xtend-Life’s Omega 3 fish oil supplements are wildly popular and have met with a lot of success in the marketplace. Unlike some other Xtend-Life products, their various Omega 3 fish oil offerings are fairly inexpensive. It is the most popular of all of Xtend-Life’s products.
One negative that I’ve experienced when taking their fish oil supplements in the past, and something that others have reported as well, is the notorious “fish burp.” If you’ve never taken a fish oil supplement, once it begins to digest, you will occasionally burp up fish oil taste. It’s not pleasant although it’s very temporary only lasting literally a few seconds at most.
With recent product iterations, though, the company has re-formulated their fish oil supplement line and appears to have totally done away with it — almost! The “burp” still happens but it’s very infrequent. I’d say one per daily dosage. It was never a big deal, though, and was a good indication it was being digested properly.
It also contains small amounts of highly refined soy tocopherols so if you’re allergic to soy, be aware of that. Xtend-Life believes you will be fine, though, as it’s such a small amount. Nevertheless, talk to your doctor (or Xtend-Life — you can talk to them by going here to their site) if you feel it’s a major concern. Talking to a doctor is always wise before beginning any supplement regime.
What about those with an allergy to shellfish? Xtend-Life says, “So long as you can eat fish you will not have any problems.”
For the record, it doesn’t have any gluten, dairy, peanut or shellfish byproducts in it.
Where Can I Buy It?
The company only sells their products direct via their website. You can buy it here.
I hope this Xtend-Life Omega 3 DHA Fish Oil page has been useful to you.
Yours in health,
