Relacore Review
This Relacore Review is an unbiased review of a weight
loss product that has garnered much attention for its reported
claims. It's often hard
to distinguish between the advertising rhetoric and the truth,
between what's fact and what's fiction. Does Relacore
work? What are its claimed benefits? What are the ingredients of
Relacore? That's what this relacore-review web page is dedicated to
answering.
Relacore Review
Relacore is made by the Carter-Reed Company. Relacore is
constantly advertised on TV as a panacea for weight loss.
Fundamentally Relacore claims it has found the link to
stomach flab stating on their own website,
"According to government researchers, the link
between stress, tension, and excess belly fat is clear. High levels
of cortisol -- a nasty little stress hormone -- can cause pound
after pound of excess body fat to accumulate around your waist and
tummy, a health-threatening, figure-destroying condition affecting
an estimated 47 million Americans...mostly women."
To the best of our knowledge, there is no government research
that links "stress, tension, and excess body fat." This premise is
the foundation stone of Relacore's claims yet they suspiciously
omit it. While the effects of stress are significant and well
documented, attributing excess body fat around the stomach is, in
our view, a gross exaggeration.
Further down their own website, they say, "Not only can Relacore
reduce stress-induced belly fat in conjunction with proper diet and
exercise..." Exercise and a well-designed diet are two
parts of the "magic" formula to weight loss -- that is understood.
Those two things will greatly accelerate fat loss much faster than
a magical weight loss/diet pill.
Benefits of Relacore
To be clear, the advertised benefits of relacore are:
- Increased weight loss
- Loss of love handle and stomach-area fat
- Less stress
- Better moods
Relacore Red Flags
A relacore review wouldn't be complete
without talking about relacore problems. Relacore red flags to be
aware of are the same with most supplement advertising --
exaggerated claims. Many new supplements hit the market and promise
the world and deliver significantly less. Perhaps the old saying is
applicable here, "If it sounds too good to be true, then it
probably is." Another red flag is when a company tries to absolve
the consumer of personal responsibility. Don't believe us? Quoting
from Relacore's website, "Simply stated, a
bulging midsection is not your fault....it's the harmful
combination of everyday stress, overeating, and excess
cortisol....all conspiring to keep you overweight, tired, and thick
around the middle."
Yes, overeating is certainly a major factor, if not the
major factor in weight gain around the stomach, but to attribute
the responsibility of that to stress and the hormone cortisol is,
we believe, irresponsible and exaggerated.
The red flag here, in our view, is when a company seeks to
seduce or charm a potential customer into thinking it wasn't their
fault, to absolve themselves of personal responsibility -- that is
a large red flag to us. Lastly,
our ears always prick up when a company claims their product is
almost magical with you the consumer hardly doing anything to get
the response -- the
something for almost nothing ploy.
Side Effects of Relacore
According to Relacore's website, www.relacore.com, "there are no
known negative side effects." That may or may not be true, we don't
know. There is no clinical evidence validating that claim, only
internal Carter-Reed Company partisan opinion. To that claim we
ask, "How do you know
there are no negative side effects?" Also, if there are
no known side effects, we presume you came to that conclusion
through research.
So, we think it's justifiable to ask where's the research link
to prove that? There is, however, no such link of any kind --
another red flag. They do say,
"If you are currently taking any prescription medications, please
check with your physician before taking Relacore. Do not take if
you are pregnant or nursing." We agree wholeheartedly with
this.
Relacore Review -- Continued
One of the chief claims of Relacore is that it can
suppress levels of excess cortisol in the body. How? Well, it does
contain several potent herbs and other substances that are known to
alleviate stress and to improve one's emotional mood. Some of its
key ingredients are magnolia bark, panax Ginseng, passion flower.
It also has a number of B vitamins and minerals in it as well.
We've used ginseng for almost 20 years and can testify of its mood
enhancing effects. It's also an aphrodisiac and popular among
athletes for its endurance enhancing qualities. Phosphotidylserine
is also a key ingredient, which may help improve cognitive function
and mood.
Most Relacore reviews are biased in my view. Why? Because
they have a vested interest in Relacore's success. Bear that in
mind when you see a relacore review touting Relacore with only
positive commentary. Honesty compels us to say we've not tried
Relacore -- we wonder if the writers of the various relacore
reviews I've seen have tried it either.
I haven't as there are simply too many red flags for us to believe it's a credible
product. In time, perhaps it will turn out to be, but for now, with
commonsense as our guide, we simply see too many suspicious claims
and unanswered questions. I therefore recommend you avoid it --
that is the essential fact of this relacore review web
page.
Yours in health, hope, and harmony,
