Policosanol Side Effects Info
Policosanol
side effects appear to be very benign. There are some important
points to consider, however. I would also like to add at this
juncture that there has been an abundance of polycosanol research
conducted worldwide.
Some say it's even
been more researched than the cholesterol lowering statin drugs it
has now been competing with in the last few years.
Policosanol is made from sugar cane wax. Incidentally, even
though policosanol comes from sugar cane wax, it doesn't raise the
glucose (blood sugar levels).
This is important info for diabetics especially. Some
erroneously conclude this and there is currently no research that
we've read that even imply it.
The side effects of policosanol though rarely reported are the
following, upset stomach, insomnia, skin rashes, migraine
headaches, drowsiness, etc.
As research is
ongoing, it is possible that other side effects will be discovered.
At this point, however, policosanol toxicity doesn't appear to be a
problem. While the policosanol side effects are not
serious, it is always advisable to consult with your doctor before
embarking on a new supplement regime.
Pregnant and/or nursing women should especially consult with
their doctor. If you'd like more information on policosanol, please

Final
Word
I'm concerned about our cardiovascular health as well and in our
research we came across a company from New Zealand that produces
GMP compliant, pharmaceutical grade quality, non-toxic supplements.
I now take this company's
cholesterol lowering supplement formula that contains healthy
policosanol.
Thus far, we've been very pleased with the results.
Incidentally, I was intrigued by New Zealand's governmental
standards for supplements as they actually surpass
those of the FDA for pharmaceutical drugs.
As you may or may not know, fraud is rampant with supplement
companies.
With this product, I was pleased as it's pharmaceutical grade,
produced in GMP compliant pharmaceutical facilities.
These are the same standards the FDA requires for drug
medication manufacture in the US.
I hope this
policosanol side effects info has been helpful for you.
Yours in health, hope, and harmony,
