Affiliate Policy
After a discussion with a interested web surfer who came upon this site, I felt I needed to add this page to this website as I've
done with another site that I own.
Throughout this Web site at the end of every page, you will see various hyperlinks. These are mostly affiliate ads although some
are just links to another page. Affiliate links lead to another Web site (usually a sales page) and there a product is offered for sale. If
you are a newbie to the Internet, what this means is that if you click on a hyperlink and buy a product through my hyperlink, I will get a
commission. Here's an example of such an affiliate link on this site: nutritional supplement.
I believe affiliate sales are fair for if I do the work in persuading you to at least take a look at the vitamin or herbal
product and you feel it's worth a try and then buy it, I should be rewarded with a small commission. Some, though, have a problem with that --
even though buying through an affiliate link doesn't affect the actual price you pay for the product one iota.
Some also find affiliate links deceptive. Well, I try to hide nothing on my sites even though I have software that would allow me
to cloak my affiliate links. If you think this is wrong, don't buy through my affiliate links -- but buy the health
products from Xtend Life that I recommend for they are the best -- I mean that.
I endorse only that which I personally use and have proven to myself. In other words, I sincerely believe in the health products I endorse. I've benefited from using these
various nutritional supplements on this site and that's one of the reasons why I've built this site -- to share my experiences.
I have found the best dietary supplements in the world, the most powerful herbs, and other alternative health means.
Consequently, I've thought it would be wonderful to share that information. I don't think it's wrong to want to make a little money at
the same time. If nothing else, I just want the site to be solvent, which it is but not from affiliate sales. The affiliate sales make a up a
very small percentage of the monthly income from this site. In fact, I only get a check from Xtend Life about once every three months and then
it's for something like $35 to $50. Needless to say, I'm not making a killing with my affiliate sales from this website. I know why people
don't buy through the obvious affiliate links on this site: it's because they are affiliate links. They then probably go back to the site and on
their own and buy direct without the link. That's fine.
Continuing, I've tried to be honest and in fact you will find me endorsing a specific product and pointing you toward a product
even though I'm not an affiliate for that product. Case in point -- my recommendation of Fresh.com's toothpaste
on my CoolHealthSecrets.com website. I use it daily and even though it's expensive ($20 per tube), it does just what it's advertised to. I've
been using it since April 2001 and my recommendation is after almost eight years of constant usage.
In conclusion, affiliate marketing is the backbone of Internet marketing and it is here to stay, but some people have a problem
with it, and that is why I wrote this page.
Thanks for visiting this site.
